We are thrilled to introduce Amanda, our newest volunteer to our TOTS Blanket Challenge.
Amanda has been following our initiative for years, admiring the dedication and positive impact it has on the community. This year, she decided it was time to join the cause, driven by her belief in the great work we are doing.
Amanda generously donated a completed blanket along with extra squares. Her background is truly inspiring. As a bookkeeper for a business in Blacktown that supports the homeless, Amanda is no stranger to community service. Her extensive experience includes working with various organisations dedicated to supporting women through domestic violence, a testament to her long-standing dedication to helping those in need.
In addition to her bookkeeping work, Amanda runs her own business, Lotus Healing Therapies. Through this venture, she offers reiki, meditation, and other healing services. She has also been collaborating with Cancer Wellness Penrith, providing treatments to individuals undergoing cancer therapy. Her holistic approach to wellness and her deep-seated compassion align perfectly with the ethos of our blanket challenge.
Despite her busy schedule, especially during this time of year when bookkeeping tasks are particularly demanding, Amanda found the time to contribute a beautifully crafted blanket. We are certain that her stunning blanket will bring warmth and comfort to someone in need this winter.
Thank you Amanda, we are grateful for your support, embodying the spirit of giving and for being a part of our TOTS Blanket Challenge in 2024.
