Guardian Angels school Brisbane does it again!

Yesterday afternoon, we received these beautiful squares in the mail – all the way from Guardian Angels School, Wynnum, Queensland. These squares are the result of Year 4 students who have all learnt to knit. With special thanks to their teacher Julie – Anne Taylor who has been so giving of her time this term, to teach these students all the skills of knitting. The students have used these skills to knit squares for a blanket which is now part of our Think Outside the Square Blanket Challenge.

These beautiful squares have been created especially in the school colours – Lime  Green and Navy. For anyone who is sewing up these squares – we would very much like to send back a photo of the finished blanket for Julie-Anne can show the children the completed blankets. Im sure they will be proud of their achievements and helping those in need this winter.

This is the second year that the Guardian Angels School  ( Year 4 students) have participated in the blanket challenge – both times led by Julie-Anne. We cannot thank her enough – and to all the year 4 students for your willingness to learn and your amazing contributions to our Tots Challenge.
