Adobe Lightroom Workflow Workshop

Spend the day in the 7Chairs studio (located inside The Creative Fringe) with Ben Halcomb, developing skills in Adobe Lightroom CC and exploring some great workflow processes.

This course will cover all aspects of Adobe Lightroom CC starting from the very basic importing into Lightroom, image sorting and tagging, image editing, colour adjustments, presets through to linking your workflow to external programs like Adobe Photoshop and Nik Software. By the end of the day you will be getting the most out of your images by utilising what Adobe Lightroom CC offers. Max class size is 5 people.

Topics Covered:

  • Basic Lightroom Workflow from importing images through to exporting finished edited files
  • Raw, the digital negative
  • Selection and tagging of images
  • Colour correction and adjustment
  • White balance control
  • Batch processing of images (copy and paste functions) and combing this with shooting methods to save time
  • Using Presets
  • Nik Software and Photoshop Plug ins
  • Use of HDR Images
  • Panorama stitching methods

With nearly 30 years’ experience, Ben is a multi-award-winning photographer who has been playing with all sorts of cameras ever since leaving school back in 1989.

Having shot over 400 weddings in his career , it is fair to say that Ben loves helping couples to capture their special day in a way that brings their individual spirit – and love – to life.

For the past 30 years, Ben has been shooting as well as weddings all sorts of corporate events and functions, over the years, there is not much that he has not photographed.

• Essential materials for making a Kokedama
• Everything you need to know about keeping your Kokedama healthy and happy
• Types of enriching soils that can be used for your Kokedama
