Fancy trying something creative but not quite sure where to start? Or perhaps you’ve got a creative side that’s been patiently waiting for some attention?
The Creative Collection is four weeks of making, experimenting, playing with different mediums and generally getting your hands a little messy.
Hosted by our very own Shaz from Hello Lovely Workshops, this is your chance to try four completely different creative styles without needing to know your watercolour from your acrylic.
Across four workshops, you’ll learn new techniques, have a play, make something lovely and head home with a finished piece you’ll actually want to put on display.
Whimsical Watercolour
Dip your toes into the wonderful world of watercolour with simple techniques, gorgeous colour and a little creative freedom. You’ll create a colourful artwork while discovering just how much fun paint and water can have together.
Acrylic on Canvas
Get your paint on and learn how to build colour, texture and detail to create your very own canvas artwork. No artistic genius required. Shaz will show you how it’s done, then you can put your own spin on it.
Painted Ceramics
Take a plain ceramic piece and give it a serious personality upgrade. Play with colour, pattern and design to create something completely your own, whether that’s a vase, planter or another ceramic treasure.
Mixed Media Magic
This is where things get interesting. Paint, paper, pens, texture and all sorts of lovely creative bits come together to create a layered mixed-media artwork. A little bit messy, a little bit unexpected and a whole lot of fun.
No art experience? Perfect.
Everything is demonstrated step-by-step, all materials are included and Shaz will be there to guide you through each workshop. There’s no pressure to be “good at art” and absolutely no judging your creative decisions.
Just come along, have a play and see what happens.
