ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Debbie O’Connor

“Andrew Potato Face was a character born out of desperation when trying to get my son to eat a healthy dinner. My story is not unique. I know that there are many parents out there who have the same challenges that we have had. What sparked me writing the book was the realisation that my bad eating habits were rubbing off on my children, and through Weight Watchers I was learning a far healthier way to live my life. I wanted my children to learn this too, but in a fun and encouraging way. The book wasn’t published until two years after it was penned, after a friend with a sickly child who was a picky eater used it to get her daughter to eat and suggested it might help others.”

The aim of the book is to make meal-time enjoyable, so that your child is not afraid to experiment. Creating a character from the different food types, appeals to their imagination (eating an ‘eyeball’ is surprisingly fun when you are a little person) and this book keeps them amused and encourages them to try new foods.

The bright illustrations with repetitive and positive message will keep your child entertained, while the colour recognition helps them to learn!

Prices includes postage Australia wide.
