Calling all the amazing volunteers in our community that can use a sewing needle - We need your help!

This Sewing Bee is in support of our TOTS challenge 2024 (Think Outside The Square Blanket Challenge)

This year with the help of our amazing community of volunteers, we aim to donate 650 blankets to charities. Our challenge officially starts on April 1, and we need all the help we can get to make our target this year. If you can sew - we would love to have you join us at our free sewing bee, grab a tea, some light refreshments and sew up some donated squares.

Feel free to share this event with anyone you know that would like to be involved in our community challenge this year. They don't have to knit or crochet, we welcome everyone to either sew up the squares, help us sort, count and bag the donated squares! We have plenty of wool and a couple of needles but it might be an idea to bring your own needle, the eye of the needle must be big enough to thread the wool through.

Coffee, Tea and light refreshments will be on hand for you to enjoy whilst you sew away  - we just ask that you register for catering purposes but the event is free of course!
